Charles River At Norumbega Park II

The wife and I fished Norumbega Park this afternoon for a couple hours.

She caught a large bluegill on a 1/8 oz Phoebe rainbow spoon. I caught a keeper largemouth on a 3" Slim Watermelon Senko with black and red flakes, fished drop shot.

While we only caught two fish, we had a good time.

To get to this spot:
- turn off Commonwealth Ave. onto Islington Road.
- Go to the end of Islington Road and there will be places to park on Islington Park.
- Go to the end of the river path.
- At the end of river path, there will be places to fish on the bank on the left.

Things to know about this spot:
- The bank is can be a bit steep and there a lot of roots.
- There are also many trees, with a few openings. I find my 5' ft rod handier here than my 6'6" rod.

Good Fishing!
