Trout Fishing - Week Report
I went to four different holes in south shore. Only one pond was proven hot fishing for me. I want to remain no name for those four ponds. for good reasons. I'm sure you'all will understand it. Anyway, it is certainly gave me lot of action as exactly I wanted.
Monday - Caught 21 trouts out of 56 hits. All rainbows. most of them was around 12-14 inch long. with two trout that reach 16 inch long. only fish for an hour.
Tuesday - Caught 7 trouts out of 19 bites. All rainbows. usual 12-14 inch long. it was hard due to snowing and cold temperature. only fish for an hour.
Wednesday - Caught 13 trouts out of 33 bites. Still all rainbows. same size as usual. nothing excitement at this day. fished for two hours.
Thursday - I give up and switch my method to catch bigger trout. fished for two hours. got only two bites. But one of them was beautiful big salmon that I lost when i was wader in the water. (bad handling and hook come out!) God Dam*! This is my first time to hook up one salmon in Mass! End up, I lost it! unbelieveable! It is surely 10+ pounder fish because it was around 28-33 inch long from my estimate! It's definitely fuel my desire to catch one badly!
Friday - fished same spot where I lost the big salmon, its proved no fish for me. no bites at all. fished for an hour. But good note, I finally got new phone that I broke from last month! Now, I can begin taking fish photos!
Sounds like the hatchery truck had just made a delivery.
If you want know which lures I used for trout. I can't tell you exactly lure but general idea is that I did used bobber with lure. Fish it slow when reel back in. The bobber is at between 5-6 feet apart from my lure.
P.s. the salmon that I lost, I was using spoon.
