After Work Whitmans Again

stopped for a quick canoe trip on the way home today. not much to report other than not catching anything. one pick on a spinnerbait. had something real small take a swipe at the frog but no takers. guessing that all this rain really set things back for a day or two. going to give it a go tomorrow in a different location.

the only reason I end up there so often is that I live about 2 mins away. makes for a short ride home afterwards. I end up at other places on days that I'm not working.

Have some patience this can be a tough place to hit with a short fishing window unless you have been here a time or two. Spinnerbait is good bet but be sure to give the buzzbait and softplastics of your choice a shot. As water cools the crankbait bite should turn on as well.
