Colebrook Res. Fishing Report
A Day With The Little Girl...
We started off without her knowing the poles were in the trunk. We drove up all around northwestern CT. I was looking for the opportunity to get on top of one of the mountains up there... when I was a kid I did 30miles on the Appalachian Trail and I was up top Bear MT and Lions Head and RazorBack ... I know you can drive up to one of them but I do not remember how... Anyway, failing that we headed over to Rte.8 and Colebrook Res.
Water was low and the boat ramp was closed but down at West Branch Res. we went down on the rocks and tossed them in for about 1 1/2 hrs ..... I caught the little Bass she is holding with a white tailed spinner and it was the only hit all day..... he hit hard and fast but was a dead fight reeling in. TOO HOOTT!!! a great day with the girl though.
