4/19/09 - Turner Pond - Walpole, MA
first time here. really nice, peaceful, small pond. small parking / canoe launch area on rt-27 (no motors). a ton of weeds for this time of year. makes me wonder what it will be like over the summer.
windy day in the canoe, but not too bad. pretty dead until about 5:00. i ended the day with 2 nice bass and 1 pickerel, nicholas had 1 perch.

- Location Details: a few spots with huge tree trunks under water with roots and a few trees half in the water from the shore. looks like a lot of areas with good potential.

- Location Details: sitting in the little cove casting to the shore and covered areas. saw something surface near the shore and i happened to have my line out of the water. cast over to the spot and hit it dead on. probably most accurate cast i've ever made, lol. hit as soon as the bait hit the water.
